Hi, my name is Ria, nice to meet you! Let me introduce myself. I was born in Florida and grew up no more than fifteen minutes from the beach. I have two wonderful, inspiring parents who immigrated to America from India in the early ’90s before having my brother — and then me, ten years later.

I love art, music, and writing, so I combine the three whenever I can. I enjoy deep conversations on all kinds of topics with all kinds of people. I try to be open with those I meet and tend to grow close to people who extend the same courtesy. Although I’d call myself a perfectionist, I also try to see my life as a work in progress.

I love fresh fruit, dark chocolate, and coffee. I make art whenever I get the chance — painting, songwriting, dancing, and writing are all forms of expression for me. Having lived in Florida my whole life, I think anything below 60 degrees is cold, and I love being outside. I hate sitting still for long periods and crave sunlight to lift my spirits.

I have one dog, a black and white Lhasa Apso named Niko, who I’m a bit envious of because he does nothing but eat, sleep, and lounge around all day. I love experimenting with my style because it’s another way of showing the world who I am.

I’m horrible at geography, often make embarrassing jokes, and it’s not uncommon to find me with drawings on my hands or bruises all over my legs. I like wearing bold lipstick and the same pieces of jewelry with every outfit.
